Letters, Letters, - Dissapointing Letters

Got my rejection letter from Supergraphics USA and Sundance Catalog Co. I'm thinking of starting a collection. It's funny how they all seem to use the same words. They all have the following phrases in one way or another:

We Liked You
But we didn't like you enough.
So we Hired someone else.
But we'll keep your Resume on file.

Whatever,
I don't like form letters - I'd rather hear exactly why they chose someone else over me. I've heard it so much lately, I'd really like to know what I'm doing wrong. Of course I'm sure that they have time to personalize a letter to all the Rejected applicants.

WOW - a month goes by fast

I didn't realize I hadn't posted in such a long time.
UPDATE: Got a new Job - I work for Fidelity Investments Life Insurance.
It's a temporary position that is deemed to last until December. I'm still going to work at getting another Job in the Visual Arts Field - But for the time being this is acceptable.

Meanwhile - My dear wife is Expecting, which fills me with feelings of Joy and Fear at the same time (Fear, because It is my duty to be the Breadwinner and provider). This is excellent news, and time for me to suck it up and work hard.

I interviewed with Sundance Catalog Company as well; that's the first time since school that I've been graded on my Photoshop skills - they never got back to me - so I'm assuming that's a NO.

I've been so caught up in training and new job shenanigans lately that I've had no desire whatsoever to even use the computer once I got home, which is why I haven't updated this blog, checked my e-mail, or any number of other things in the past few weeks.

I did manage to overcome my aversion to do a little work and have been able to Model a Head in 3DS Max, but that's just about it.
